Andy Bragg is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Indiana University and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history. Andy moved to Florida and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. Along the way, he interned for personal injury firms in both Jacksonville and Indianapolis.
After graduating law school, Andy worked in Tallahassee, Florida for a large state-wide insurance defense firm learning a variety of practice areas and trying his first case in Leon County County court in 2002. Andy was appointed as an inventory attorney to assist in reconciling an entire law firm whose owner unexpectedly passed. He went on to serve as a two-term board member on the law office management and advisory section (LOMAS) from 2002 through 2008.
Andy relocated to Tampa, Florida where he defended both personal injury and property claims. He opened his own firm practicing first party property and injury claims for plaintiffs. Thereafter, he joined the largest plaintiffs firm in Florida. While with this firm, Andy tried first-party property, personal injury cases and a nursing home case to verdict.
Having tried cases with both the insurance company side and homeowner’s side gives Andy a unique perspective on the issues that matter to juries. With over 20 years experience in civil trial practice throughout Florida, Andy is well-suited to take on the big insurance companies who deny and under pay claims as a routine business pattern.
Additionally, as a father of three children, Andy knows the importance of balance in family matters and career. Andy is admitted to practice in all state courts throughout Florida, as well as the United States District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.
